Hi, I’m Anca 👋🏻 I'm the face behind Copy & Coffee, so I thought I'd introduce myself and my assistant, Dora the dachshund. I can't tell you what she does (although it always seems like incredibly important work), but I can tell you a bit about myself.
I'm a freelance content writer, copywriter and journalist with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies and a Master’s in Marketing, both from the University of Portsmouth, plus some years of experience in all things writing and editing.
I'm Romanian and British and lived and worked in London until December 2020. Then I moved to Bologna (*plays All I Want For Christmas Is You*) and started freelancing. Oh, and I self-published a couple of books! Italy inspires me, what can I say?
And then there was the newsletter—a sort of behind-the-scenes peek, because I have no intention of keeping it all formal. It might have started that way, but really I just want a space where I can write freely about things that have to do with my work… more or less!
So here I’ll be sharing my thoughts on writing, marketing and creativity, the highs and lows of working for yourself, and more. I may not have all the answers, but I’m out here looking for them because I sure have all the questions too. I hope you’ll stay!
